KYLE RINAUDO is the only candidate for District 35 endorsed by Georgia Equality
“State House District 35, our community of Acworth and Kennesaw, has been represented by the same GOP politician for the past 15 years. In that time, he has led the “religious freedom” efforts to allow discrimination against LGBT-identifying Americans. I believe that’s wrong–and it’s the reason I decided to challenge him this year. In my announcement message on January 3rd, I made point to mention that one of my core values is that “all people–no matter how you look, who you love, or where you come from–deserve equal rights under the Constitution.” That’s a breath of fresh air from the current representatives we have in Georgia, and I look forward to working hard in January 2019 to engage LGBT Georgians and ensure discrimination is a thing of the past. That’s what the 21st Century looks like–and it’s reason for us all to be optimistic.”
“I’m running to represent Acworth and Kennesaw with values that welcome all Georgians. My generation knows that we need to have policies that support and lift up people of all identities, and for that reason I am so honored to be endorsed by Georgia Equality.”
