Let’s face it: We all know Georgia’s highways, trains, and transit options have lagged behind the rest of the country, and posed a real drag on Georgia’s economy. When it takes two hours to drive from Acworth to Atlanta, that hurts the economy, and makes our lives more difficult. Kyle wants to take a new look at transportation options for our community, ensuring that all people can get to where they want to go–work, school, and life–in the most efficient, environmentally sustainable way possible.
How we get there:
Kyle has always believed that Georgia should invest in the next generation of transportation solutions for Georgia and Cobb County. Rather than looking at what hasn’t worked in the past, Kyle thinks it’s time to look at what’s in Georgia’s future. This means a real investment in a unified transportation network, promoting sustainable alternatives like biking, mass transit, and eco-friendly fuel standards, and considering the opportunities of the next decade–including ridesharing, the possibility for autonomous vehicles, and the continued growth for the Atlanta area.
